Doctors

Dr. Lagaly was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, and grew up in Weatherford, Texas. He played baseball, football and basketball in high school, and he was also selected for the All-State Choir. Dr. Lagaly attended Baylor University where he was a member of the Baylor Men’s Choir and had a work study job with Baylor Intramurals.  After graduating from Baylor University with a B.S. in Forensic Science, he moved to Katy, Texas, where he taught science and coached various sports at Faith West Academy.  He was then accepted to dental school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.  Dr. Lagaly graduated summa cum laude, in the top 10% of his dental class.  He was also accepted to the OKU National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Lagaly met his wife, Rachel, when they were physics lab partners at Baylor.  They were married in 2006 in Magnolia, Texas, and welcomed a son in August 2009, a daughter in December 2012 and another son in September 2017. Dr. Lagaly and his family attend Houston Northwest Church, where Dr. Lagaly enjoys singing on the worship team.

Office Hours:

Dr. Norwood grew up in Cypress and is thrilled to be treating patients from her hometown. Dr. Norwood went to Cy-Fair High School and attended Texas A&M University graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After college, Dr. Norwood received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.  Dr. Norwood is active in her dental community as a member of various dental organizations including the Greater Houston Dental Society and Southwest Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry.

Outside of her love of dentistry, Dr. Norwood enjoys watching and attending Aggie sports, exploring Houston and spending time with her husband and daughter. She is excited to be a part of the Active Life Dentistry team, and she enjoys getting to know her patients as well as serving their dental needs.

Office Hours:

Dr. Roach grew up in Colorado City, a small town in West Texas. She headed east to attend Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Roach then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Roach has enjoyed making Houston her home and is excited to serve the members of the Greater Houston area.

In her free time, Dr. Roach enjoys going for runs in the park, trying new restaurants, participating in her Catholic faith, and spending time with her niece and nephews.

Dr. Soto grew up in Cypress and is so excited to be back in her hometown treating patients. Dr. Soto went to Cypress Ranch High School and attended The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After college, Dr. Soto received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. While in dental school, Dr. Soto was an active leader in many organizations, serving as the President of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and The Alignment Club. Dr. Soto is currently active in the dental community as a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Outside of her love of dentistry, Dr. Soto enjoys trying new restaurants in the Houston area with her friends and family, cooking, and travelling. Dr. Soto also enjoys going to sporting events to support the Longhorns and the Astros. She is so excited to be a member of the Active Life Dentistry family and is beyond excited to continue to work within the community that she grew up in!
