Dear Towne Lake patients,
We are very excited to announce that Dr. Trey Patterson has opened his own practice, Towne Lake Dentistry, and has purchased Active Life Dentistry’s Towne Lake location! The office staff has not changed, so you will see the same smiling faces – dentist, hygienists, and assistants – that you are used to seeing in the Towne Lake office!
What Now?
You are receiving this letter because you or your child has visited the Active Life Dentistry (“ALD”) Towne Lake location within the past 18 months and has the Towne Lake location selected as your “primary clinic” in our patient database or because you or your child have been or are on the schedule to be seen at the Towne Lake location. You may, as always, choose to make future appointments with whichever practice you prefer. For your convenience, both practices will retain a copy of your dental records as of March 20, 2020, but will not share information about any future visits or treatment. Also, we understand that members of the same family may sometimes prefer to visit different office locations. If you have family members that were not seen at the Towne Lake office in the past 18 months or were assigned to a different ALD location as their “primary clinic,” their records have not been transferred to Towne Lake Dentistry as part of this sale.
Active Life Dentistry will continue to operate its other four offices, located in Bridgeland, Lakewood, Cypress (Skinner Rd.), and Jones Road. There will be no changes for patients of these other locations.
All invoices for visits and treatment completed on or before March 20, 2020, will be issued and collected by Active Life Dentistry, and all invoices for visits and treatment completed on or after March 23, 2020, will be issued by Towne Lake Dentistry. We expect a smooth transition, but please be patient with us as we transfer operations between the practices.
About Dr. Patterson and Towne Lake Dentistry
Even before he began seeing patients at Active Life Dentistry, during his years at Texas A&M University, Dr. Patterson was himself a patient of ALD and became a personal friend of Dr. Blume’s. After seeing how friendly and cheerful the ALD staff were, Dr. Patterson hoped for the opportunity to work with an office that was as friendly and patient-centered as ALD. After completing his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, Dr. Patterson was invited to work at the Active Life Dentistry offices, and Dr. Patterson and Dr. Blume’s relationship changed from a patient/doctor friendship to a mentorship. After purchasing the Towne Lake office, Dr. Patterson commented, “It’s a true honor to have the opportunity to acquire such an established office with a staff that I have worked with for multiple years, and from a mentor like Dr. Blume that has had such an impact on my dental career.”
The patient-centered care along with the upbeat and friendly environment is what makes this acquisition so exciting for Dr. Patterson. Following the model of ALD, it is his ambition to not only deliver lifelong care to his patients but to make Towne Lake Dentistry a mainstay in the Cypress community for many years to come. His main philosophy in dentistry is to treat all patients, whether children or adults, as if they were part of his very own family and to do what he can to make a patient’s day even better than before they walked through his doors. No patient is too old or young for him to impact, and he wants to make coming to the dentist something that patients look forward to, instead of something they need to do!
