Dr. Chi Nguyen will start working with Active Life Dentistry on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Initially, Dr. Nguyen will be at the Cypress office on Wednesdays and Thursdays and at the Lakewood office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Her bio is below. Please give her a warm welcome!
Dr. Nguyen is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. Following high school, she attended Texas A&M University, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. After college, she attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. While in dental school, she was an active member in many organizations, including the American Student Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, Christian Medical Dental Association, and San Antonio Medical Ministries. Dr. Nguyen is now involved in the local dental community as a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring national parks to hike and camp, baking, and playing with her puppy, Watson. Her favorite sports teams are the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets and fightin’ Texas Aggies (whoop!). She also enjoys serving her church community at New Life Fellowship.
Dr. Sharon Mathew will start working with Active Life Dentistry on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Initially, Dr. Mathew will be at the Cypress office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at the Towne Lake office on Mondays and Wednesdays. Her bio is below. Please give her a warm welcome!
Dr. Sharon Mathew was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After college, Dr. Mathew attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated with a distinction in dental education. She was involved in many dental organizations including the American Student Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity, American Academy of Women Dentists, Christian Medical and Dental Association and San Antonio Medical Ministries.
Dr. Mathew enjoys traveling, the outdoors, staying active by running and spin, and trying new things from food to adventures. She enjoys going to concerts and musical festivals, watching Houston sports, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Mathew attends Hope City Church.
